Stories. Expeditions. Controlled Burning.

A Raw Unfiltered Cookbook by an Experienced Mother. No Sugar-Coating.

Recipes usually begin with something like “prepare the following ingredients.”

In households with small children, though, cooking or baking rarely starts with ingredients. And definitely not lists of them.

Because first, you have to clear the mess off the kitchen counter. Then find the tools you need—usually in the kids’ play kitchen, because your best wooden spoon has mysteriously gone missing and is currently being used as a drumstick. Then wash the dishes from the last round of cooking—so you actually have something to cook in.

Here you’ll find recipes without a filter.
The kind that are born in the middle of chaos.

With a pinch of humor.
Okay, sometimes it’s laughter through tears.

You know. Reality.

For now, this one lives in Slovak.
